Enjoyed a fabulous week in sunny Los Angeles with On Ensemble, in preparation for the big Taiko 2.0 show at the Cerritos Centre, March 12. Huge thanks to Maz, Shoji, Kelvin, and especially Kris and Hiroka for hosting me so warmly! A visit to southern California in February is a wonderful way to charge the batteries in the dead of winter. Maz, Kris and I explored the amazing rock formations at the Vasquez Rocks park on a rare day-off (yup, *completely*!)….. a location often used by the TV/ movie biz to great dramatic effect.
