I’m currently working on several new albums for release over the coming months. These include projects with Olivier Babaz, John Sellekaers, Didem Başar, Small World Project, Constantinople as well as a couple of others.
But particularly, I’m happy to announce that I’ll also be releasing a new solo album of improvised percussion pieces, entitled Lumina. Since January, I’ve been recording with excellent engineer Ross Murray at his home studio in Chelsea, Québec. I’m excited that we’re now in the process of mixing, with a view to put the album out in March 2020. Lumina will be released on the Montréal-based label Malasartes Musique.
The pieces on the album are explorations of the many unusual instruments in my collection and the installations that I enjoy building. Here are a couple of rehearsal clips and a gallery of photos from the recording sessions for Lumina. More updates soon…
