I’m excited, it’s been three years in preparation, but new music is out today!

‘Tempest’ is the lead single from Littoral States, a new collaborative album between exploratory harpist Sarah Pagé and outernational percussionist Patrick Graham. The expansive, shifting composition weaves together several earthen modes, each invitingly organic and warm, yet somehow uncanny. Visual artist Tamar Kasparian, who worked closely with the duo in developing the themes and artwork for the album, describes the opening track as ‘listening to the sounds of a storm, unsure whether it’s coming or going’. Like the other pieces that make up Littoral States, ‘Tempest’ succeeds in recreating the inimitable feeling of listening to a broader world.
